I'm a fan of almost anything.
Movies:
I have chosen to have a collection of DVDs made up solely of movies that have moved or affected me in some way. So far the list is as is follows: Love Actually, Memoirs of a Geisha, Sense and Sensibility, The Terminal, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Last Unicorn (from my childhood). The ones I don't own yet but hope to include: Instinct, The Pursuit of Happiness, and V for Vendetta.
TV:
I like watching seasons on DVD. I guess I'm too impatient to wait through boring commercials or the weekly installments. Up to this point the series I've watch include (in no particular order): Gilmore Girls, Sex and the City, Alias, Friends, Charmed, Lost, Las Vegas, House, and some of Heroes. Now mind you this is over the past 5 years that I have been able to watch these series.
Books:
Terry Goodkind's series entitled The Sword of Truth. It dealt with wizards and magic, heroes and heroins, and of course love. I liked it because the main characters were strong people who fought tooth and nail for what they believed in: love and freedom. The other book I love is entitled Ender's Game by Orison Scott Card. Simply, the way in which the book was written and the ideas the author presented were flawless.
Likes:
Anything that is a show of love and compassion. Something as simple as a post-it to something as complicated as a full day of planned events would fall under this category. Now for the more run-of-the-mill answer: I like volleyball, horseback riding, almost all outdoor activities, theatrical productions, traveling, and oh so many other things.
Dislikes:
Liars, Cheaters, and others of a generally low moral standard. People who have no regard for other people, animals, or the planet on which we all live. I'm sure there are many other things that I don't like, but I think this is enough for now.
Hobbies:
The only thing I am interested in doing during my leisure time is having fun; whether that be traveling around the world, whitewater rafting, or simply watching a movie on the couch.
