About Me:
Outdoorsy, w/eyes of blue and in February turned 52. I became a dog owner back in 1997 to an Alaskan Husky pup who I named "Kodi" for the Kodiak bear and island in AK. Have been a big fan&follower of the AK Iditarod since 1974 and finally Feb 2000 got to see up close and personal the Ceremonial Send off in Anchorage,AK. At the present, have been care-taking my devoted faithful pet companion as she goes through a health-medical condition [vet diagnosed her to having a brain tumor along w/possible geriatric vestibular syndrome]-she's a great 4pawed trooper! Shared many heartfelt treks'n trips together which sadly miss. I have a very friendly personality-a country gal more than a city slicker. Appreciate down home meals w/occasional go gourmet. A NY Yankees baseball fan as well. Have been employed as an early childhood educator,member service associate in travel and a librarian. Enjoy meeting new people and some travel to new places. Feel it is very important to have a decent balance btwn personal life and one's work. Would like to encounter the milestone of marriage and sharing the walk in this world with my significant other & our pet companions and possibly adopting children. Like to get to know a person first as friends- be "in like" w/each other and go from there if the chemistry is good. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me.....
