I am not sure what Toffee would make of Disneyland, but one thing is for sure Disney would not be what it is today without its' animated animal stars.
Seeing Cruella's car was a thrill for my kids, but of course no live dalmations anywhere in sight! In the hotel booklet, which could take you a day of your stay to digest, there is a polite reminder that "For hygiene and safety, our pet friends are not allowed in Disney theme parks, hotels, or Disney Village, except guide dogs." But because this is one of those places on earth where they have attempted to cover every family scenario, to entice you to stay as long as you can, and spend as much as you can...selling dreams is one thing, but i have never seen so much retail space selling variations on the same merchandise, enough souvenirs to populate every child's bedroom throughout the world), of course they have also thought of providing kennels "located near the visitor's car park of each Disney Park so as to look after animals during your stay." They do not specify what "animals" so I take it they are equipped for all species, in Disney fashion!! But they go on to say, they will look after your animals, as long as they have been vaccinated and "tattooed" (must include sheep and cattle!)
Toffee, and any adventurous dogs like her come to think of it, would love a Disneyland of their own...chase the squirrel would be very popular, or swimming with ducks perhaps...a place where dreams come true for her, but not very PC in D.Land I fear...
